WINEMAKING NOTES

100% Cabernet Sauvignon

This wine is made with 100% free run juice from Angela's Vineyard on Red Mountain. Our Estate Cabernet Sauvignon is transferred from the stainless-steel fermentation vessel to age for an extended period in Tonnellerie Plantagenet barrels – made from new French oak chosen from four forests, with twenty-five percent from each forest, allowing for a consistent, equal blend in each barrel.

TASTING NOTES

This wine opens bright and quite fruity, with juicy plums and candied apples. The mouthfeel is big, with hints of leather and game. There is incredible spice and balanced acidity, lending itself to a long and persistent finish. As a free run wine, our Estate Cabernet Sauvignon has a delicate and nuanced flavor profile, with softer tannins and better clarity of fruit flavors. An excellent addition to your cellar, this wine will age beautifully for many years to come.

VINEYARD

Angela's Vineyard is situated at the very southwest point of Red Mountain. Planted on a slope reaching from 650 to 600 feet elevation, Angela's Vineyard showcases remarkable texture, purity of fruit, and concentration.
