100% Chenin Blanc

Adrienne is named after one of the lovely Ferrelli granddaughters. Aged in a concrete egg before bottling, this technique enhances the Chenin Blanc's natural texture and minerality. The unique shape of the egg encourages gentle mixing of the sediment, which helps to preserve the wine's fresh fruit character while adding subtle, stony nuances. This was an exceptional growing season for the region, with an extended period of warm, stable daytime weather and cool nights, ideal for developing complex flavors and maintaining the balanced acidity that makes this wine shine.  

Tasting Notes:

This wine showcases vibrant stone fruit notes of peaches and apricots, complemented by a subtle hint of struck match. The creamy, rounded mouthfeel from Malo-lactic fermentation offers a
smooth texture, while prominent stone fruit flavors are balanced by the crispness of grapefruit. The finish reveals nuanced complexity with lingering hints of unripe fruit and wet stone, adding freshness and contrast.
