Our “Ceidleigh” Syrah (pronounced kay-Lee) beautifully balances the old and new world styles in a single glass, lending itself to a distinctive wine deserving of its name, which means 'celebration’ in Gaelic.

70% Clone 174, 30% Clone 383
40% whole cluster fermentation in stainless steel fermenters.

Ceidleigh is fermented in stainless-steel, with 40% whole clusters, to highlight the character of Angela’s Estate Vineyard and add diversity to our two Estate Syrahs.  

TASTING NOTES

This Syrah highlights the unique flavors and textures of Red Mountain. The nose is warm and inviting, while the palate reveals an elegant mouthfeel full of flavors of grilled meat, and a friendly, almost candy-like sweetness. The finish is lengthy, with lingering notes of spice enhanced by Seguin Moreau puncheons—this addition of new French oak imparts a softness and a beautiful, velvety finish. Angela’s Vineyard is situated at the very southwest point of Red Mountain. Planted on a slope reaching from 650 to 600 feet elevation, Angela’s Vineyard showcases remarkable texture, purity of fruit, and concentration.
