100% Malbec

In 2019 while visiting Stonetree vineyard, the beautiful site in Wahluke slope AVA where we grow the grapes for Paulie, the grower Tedd offered to show me the new vineyard he had just planted 3 years prior. It was just a few miles down the road, nestled across an irrigation stream.  I was immediately excited to work with him on a new wine. I hope you all enjoy it as much as I love making it!

Tasting Notes:

It’s really been fun watching these plants mature, at the ’19 vintage was the first wine produced from this vineyard. This wine has great depth in color; well-balanced silky-smooth tannins make it calm and easy drinking.  The mouthfeel is full of jammy fruits, sage, herbaceousness and baking spice.  Somebody grab some carne asada!
