Co-Ferment 58% Merlot, 42% Syrah

In 2006, winery owners Kevin and Angela Taylor learned that their young son Joe, grandson to ‘Big Papa’ Daniel Ferrelli and Helen Ferrelli, was diagnosed with A.L.L. Leukemia. Joe’s strength of spirit and brush-off attitude during the exhaustive treatments distinguished him as a “Tough Guy.” We are ever so grateful for the treatment and cure he received, inspiring us to donate a portion of the wine’s proceeds to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Tasting Notes:

The use of the Co-Fermentation for this wine gives it some personality!  Smooth and silky tannins lend some bogger fruits on the mouthfeel.  Think of that fig jam that comes with the yellow lid on its container and you’ve got a great pairing.  Its not subtle, it’s great!  You can taste the earthiness from Taylor Mag Vineyard on the finish!
