In 2006, winery owners Kevin and Angela Taylor learned that their young son Joe, grandson to ‘Big Papa’ Daniel Ferrelli and Helen Ferrelli, was diagnosed with A.L.L. Leukemia. Joe’s strength of spirit and brush-off attitude during the exhaustive treatments distinguished him as a “Tough Guy.” We are ever so grateful for the treatment and cure he received, inspiring us to donate a portion of the wine’s proceeds to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
Tasting Notes:
The nose is full of cherry pie on this one! Smooth and silky tannins lend to flavors of lavender and olive tapenade, this wine is bloody and would be a perfect complement to grilled meat.Vineyard Designation:
