The duo from Kristen's Jeff Steak House recently paid us a visit in our tasting room, and posted an extremely nice review of the wines on their site.
"As for their Syrahs, the first they boasted was the 2006 Jolie Bouche. As they stated quite spot on, this syrah would be excellent paired with food, as their next one, their 2006 Ceidleigh Syrah is more robust, holding quite a character for itself without any need for definition or enhancement. The Jolie Bouche was french in style and finished somewhat blandly, although smooth. Holding on to this bottle for a year or two would be wise. And at $34/bottle and a year commitment, dinner is almost mandatory by that point. The Ceidleigh ran $29/bottle."
